The owners were such a kind, welcoming couple, and we especially enjoyed the fresh, delicious homemade breakfast. Our simple room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Peter & Tony Rooms is in a peaceful spot in Syros, just a few steps from the beach and nearby tavernas. We found one taverna a short walk away and loved it enough to eat there two nights in a row. The food, atmosphere, and view of the sunset were unforgettable. It's a lovely place to relax, and we'd happily come back.

Tony was a wonderfully hospitable host and went out of his way to help, including arranging a 6am taxi to the port. The rooms are simple but practical, and breakfast is plentiful with a choice of what's on offer. It's very close to Galissas beach, and the bus gets you to other nearby beaches. We really enjoyed our stay at Peter & Tony's rooms, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a budget stay in the Galissas area.

Tony and Christina made us feel welcome from the start. They're lovely, friendly people, and they run a little cafe and shop right below the apartments. Just head downstairs for a frappe, spinach pies, or fresh orange juice. Galissas itself has a great beach and lovely sights nearby, including the chapel of Agios Stefanos. The apartments are beautiful, have everything you need, and feel like great value. They're on Galissas's main road, just a one-minute walk from the beach, but the rooms are still quiet and we slept well. Of all the Cycladic islands I've visited, this is one of my favorite places. Peter&Tony’s Apartments would be my pick for a Greek holiday. 10/10.

We were glad to take our friends' recommendation for this family-run B&B. The rooms are simple, as you'd expect in Greece, but have a fridge, kettle, TV, air-con, a mosquito plug-in, and mosquito guards on the doors and windows. It's clean and comfortable, and close to the beach. Breakfast is at the bakery downstairs, which is owned by the same people. Everything there is delicious, and the bakery is also the village's hub, so it's a great spot for people watching.
