Grammatoula and Kosmos were the kindest, friendliest, and most helpful hosts. They made the place feel familiar and helped us whenever they could. Even when bad weather cancelled our ferry, they made our stay 100% worthwhile. The location is great too, just 1 min from the bus stop and 5 min from the beach, on the way to St. Stefanos. I can only highly recommend staying here.

Galissas felt like the ideal base, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but still close to Ermoupoly and the main services. We stayed at Thalassa Thea for two nights and loved the charming studio, which was cleaned very thoroughly. The owners were such a welcoming Greek couple, and we really appreciated their hospitality. WiFi was fast enough to work, and the price was fair. We'd happily come back.

The hosts were incredibly helpful with island questions and sorted us out with cabs and the bus timetable more than once. They were the kindest older couple I've ever stayed with, and the room was good quality for a very reasonable price, especially so close to the sea. The internet did struggle at busy times, and there weren't many outlets in the room. But if you're here to unwind by the water and take a break from work and technology, the location is hard to beat.

There were lovely beaches, taverns, and brunch spots just about a five-minute walk away, and we could get to Ermoupoli easily by bus. Gramatoula and Kosmas made us feel so looked after. When we arrived, there was juice, water, and sandwiches in the fridge, and they brought fresh sandwiches each morning. They tidied and cleaned the room daily while we were out, offered us a lift to the supermarket, and explained the bus times and suggested beaches, sights, and museums. We had the best time and would definitely return!
