Christiana Hotel Apartments

The hotel made us feel like we'd been welcomed into the home of distant relatives. The owner and staff were warm, always smiling, and happy to tell us about places to visit. They cleaned our room every day and left fresh towels. We rented a car to explore the island, so the location worked really well for us. The sea, local shops, and restaurants were all close by. We chose breakfast too, and it was freshly prepared, filling, and delicious. Thanks for such a warm welcome and a lovely stay. I'll miss you and hope we meet again someday ❤️

The best part for us was how accommodating everyone was. Our flight was late, but they let us stay longer than we'd agreed. The host was kind and always smiling, and the rest of the staff were just as helpful. The rooms were clean, attractive, and had all the amenities we needed. The hotel is peaceful and close to the centre, with food, restaurants, and bars an easy walk away. The sea is right nearby, and it seems like a great choice for families. Gennadi is a little Greek village, but it has all the essentials close to the hotel: restaurants, a supermarket, fresh fruit, a bakery, bars, medical services, and a pharmacy. There are also some beautiful, quiet, almost deserted beaches nearby. The south of the island feels magical. A lovely place to stay, and I'll definitely be back.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and staff kept up the daily cleaning and changed the sheets every day. We also found a row of local shops and restaurants up the street, plus a nearby bakery with really tasty sweets. We drove around the island, and the hotel made it easy to reach places in southern Rhodos. After a disappointing first impression, we ended up having a good holiday at Christiana, and the price felt fair. At first, the surroundings seemed odd, with empty, unfinished, or damaged houses and little to look at. There were lots of cats, and the reception was empty in the afternoon, though staffed in the evening and at night. You park in front of the hotel, as there's no separate parking area. Our room was next to the reception, so we heard everything, especially phone conversations that went on almost constantly from 6 pm until midnight. That was disturbing. The kitchen could use more mugs and cutlery, too. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, so we drove there with our toddler.
