Asteris Village Gerakini Holiday Resort

The hotel team, a kind family and their colleagues, made an effort to get to know each guest and were so friendly. We also had great access to a lovely beach where we could walk for miles. On arrival, the place looked amazing, and at check-in we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with incredible sea views. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, and the restaurant food was lovely. The team even went the extra mile to prepare special vegetarian meals. The pool was big and relaxing, with beautiful scenery all around. All of this was incredible value. Thanks so much for a perfect stay!

The remote location didn't take away from the Greek charm, and this became one of our favourite holidays ever. My husband and I were treated like family from the moment we arrived. The hotel has amazing sea views and miles of olive trees all around. Angela, Nikos, Anastasia, Asteris and all the cleaning staff worked hard to make our holiday special, especially John, who cleaned our room. Breakfast was plentiful and filling, and the evening meals were beautifully cooked Greek food. Thank you all. We'll be back. ❤️

Everyone working at the Asteris, including the owners, made my stay even better. They were always happy to help and say hello. As a solo traveller, I had plenty of questions, and the main lady helped me with local attractions and public transport at any time of day. The whole site had a relaxing feel, with pretty barrels and olive and pomegranate trees bearing fruit. I was upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely surprise. It was clean, welcoming and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed for a week. The terrace looked out over the sea and olive trees. Breakfast was basic but had what I needed to start the day: coffee, tea, cereals, yoghurt and fruit, bread and butter, toasters, honey, preserves, meats and cheese, pastries, scrambled eggs, and either Greek sausage or bacon. I ate a few main meals at the restaurant too. The swordfish, Caesar salad and pork stifado were all tasty, cooked just right and made with fresh ingredients, and good quality for the price. I'd definitely recommend this friendly hotel and look forward to staying again. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.

From the minute we arrived, my mum and I felt like we belonged there. Everyone at this family-run place was polite, friendly and full of positive energy. The rooms were fantastic, clean and equipped with everything we needed, and the view was wonderful. We loved the pool, and the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. A lot of the food is handmade and delicious, and you can eat and have drinks by the pool. Prices for food and drinks were great. They even make their own olive oil, which you can buy at the bar. A big thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable. My mum and I are so happy we chose this village and got to experience such warm hospitality! ❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯💯 We also had the chance to make friends with some lovely people staying at Asteris Village.
