Stavros Villas and Apartments

The beach is beautiful, and the view is a dream. Sadly, the food wasn't great, though there were other nearby restaurants with excellent food. Breakfast was very poor, with the same menu every day. The bathroom had very old furniture. There are no window screens, so opening the windows lets in all the insects. The cleaning lady cleaned our room only once in ten days, and we had lots of ants in the room.

I came from another hotel just to eat here, and the food was really, really good 😍. It was a little confusing that you pay separately for food and drinks at the bar, and go and get the drinks yourself. I saw someone do that, though I might have misunderstood.

We had two weeks of blissful relaxation. The rooms only have the basics, but they're very clean and comfortable. The pool bar and restaurant are fantastic, with pretty much anything you'd ask for. Those nearly frozen glasses are a godsend! The food is great, flavourful Greek cooking, and very reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back, like most of the guests seem to be.

It's a very peaceful spot, and the apartment was simple but worked well for us. We had two terraces, one east-facing and one west-facing, so there was always somewhere shady to sit. Restaurants and the beach are 80m away, the nearest supermarket is about 300m, and the bakery is about 800m. There are maybe six other restaurants nearby, too. The beach is beautiful and changes day by day, sometimes sandy and sometimes with pebbles. It's clean and never overcrowded. We often ate at the family restaurant, where Charoula served lovely homemade specialties and desserts. The baklava was excellent. We spent 14 beautiful, calm days at Stavros Villas. It's a family business where they treat you like one of their own, and the staff are very helpful with guest requests. Thanks so much for a great holiday. We definitely want to come back!
