The water is very clear, though cold, and there are rocky patches in some places.

The sea is crystal clear and the beach is enchanting. We visited at the end of June, when it was quiet and felt suitable for families. The residence is in good condition, with options for groups of 2, 4, or 6.

The house feels welcoming, with old but good-quality furniture. I was bothered by the lack of window screens, since we had to keep the windows shut. With insect screens, we wouldn’t need AC because the house stays cool.

The setting by the sea is great, and the beach is very nice, though the residence and bar look a little dated. There’s a market and a good taverna at the far right end of the beach. Sometimes there’s a sewer smell. A bar also plays music for young people from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. It’s pleasant at first, but gets a bit annoying later on. There’s lots of bus traffic, so a scooter is best for getting around, but watch out for potholes.

The apartments right beside the beach have a truly special spot on Corfu’s beautiful sandy west coast. Book early and you may get a very reasonable apartment price. There’s free parking for each apartment, and good restaurants next to the resort. An excellent resort.
