Sea View Cityscape Hotel

My husband and I ended up booking at the Seaview for two and a half weeks after I was hospitalized in Glyfada. My husband kept raving about the hotel, which is unusual for him, and after I was discharged I understood why. The staff made the place: the manager was kind and helpful, the front desk team were great, and so were housekeeping, food service and the chef. The hotel was very clean, our room suited our needs perfectly, and we loved the lobby, with people playing cards and games. It had a beautiful, welcoming feel. The restaurant was lovely and eclectic, breakfast was delicious, and the wait staff were wonderful. We were close to everything we needed. We were lucky to find such a fantastic hotel and staff. Thank you for turning a difficult, unexpected situation into a beautiful memory.

The pool was such a relaxing spot. We had drinks and snacks while sunbathing, and there’s a bar outside plus a button on the sunbeds to order food and drinks. It’s probably more for adults than children. The one small downside is that it doesn’t open until 11am. The hotel itself feels elegant and peaceful, with welcoming staff. Our room was spacious and modern, with a balcony and a very comfortable bed. Downstairs there are comfy chairs and lots of plants, with places to relax inside and out. The beach is an easy walk away. Breakfast was really good too, especially the feta and tomato eggs. It costs an extra €16 per day. The hotel is very well run, and I really enjoyed my stay.

The reservations team clearly explained which room type and size was available when I booked, since the rooms aren’t all the same. Breakfast was included and had something for every taste. Staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel is close to Glyfada’s shopping area, and several beaches and beach clubs are within walking distance. Voula and Vouliagmeni, with their fine dining options, are a short taxi ride away.

We really enjoyed this lovely hotel, and breakfast was great. The road noise was the downside. Cars were racing loudly at all hours. With temperatures still in the high 30s at 9am, it would have been nice to swim then, but the pool didn’t open until 11. That seemed odd.
