The apartments and building have just been renovated, and the place looks modern and just like the photos. The location is perfect for Glyfada. We’d suggest booking a garden view room if you’re sensitive to noise, since the tram and street can be loud. The apartment was very clean, though we did find a few hairs scattered on the floor, which bothered us a little. It could use some finishing touches. There was a washing machine but nowhere to hang clothes, and no iron or ironing board. The Nespresso machine had no capsules, even though having 2-4 would have been nice. The bathroom and shower are nice, but a holder for the shower, or a proper shower, would be a welcome improvement. Even so, we liked the apartment and would recommend it, especially for a longer stay. We’d stay again, and the price for what you get is very good.

My room at Glyfada South 42 Hotel was comfortable, and the surroundings were beautiful and quiet. Leaving was stressful because a taxi driver strike meant I couldn’t find a way to the airport on time. A woman at the front desk stepped in when I was feeling helpless and nearly desperate. She reassured me patiently, then quickly called a reliable driver the hotel works with. I reached the airport on time and felt at ease. Her care went beyond her duties, and her quick problem-solving made me appreciate the hotel’s warmth and professionalism. Without her help, I probably would have missed my flight. Thank you to her and to Glyfada South 42 Hotel for having such helpful staff. I highly recommend it for the comfortable stay and the genuine care when guests need help.

We felt safe and had peace and quiet during our stay, and it was nice to avoid a crowded hotel. The apartments are super clean and fully equipped, in a central location about a five-minute drive from the Athenian Riviera beaches. There are also great places to eat nearby. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it for any kind of traveler.

Hot water only lasted about five minutes, so I couldn’t even take a full hot shower. Ridiculous. The main road noise was constant, with traffic and trams coming through. There was no privacy either: opening the curtains or windows meant people on the street could see in, and using the balcony wasn’t really possible. Even if your room faces the garden, you can still hear the lobby and everyone coming into the building. The entry code makes a really loud, annoying noise. I barely slept during my three nights. Extremely disappointing and expensive. Not worth it at all.
