The location was the one drawback for me. You can hear the nearby road, and you’ll need a car or be ready to walk quite a bit. Still, I’d happily stay at this lovely hotel again. Inside, the lighting made the space feel relaxing, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had soft water with great pressure. USB and USC power points are right by the bed. The kitchen has what you need, though tea towels and washing-up liquid would be useful. The hot tub was lovely, but took a while to warm up. The staff were fantastic, helpful, and easy to reach. It’s clear a lot of thought went into the details.

A car is necessary if you want to get to the shops or the beautiful beaches. Aside from that, we had an amazing time at Nerium Apartments in Gouves, Crete. Our apartment felt luxurious and was spotless, with three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a big living room, and a well-equipped kitchen. We especially loved the private terrace, with sun loungers, a dining table, and a large jacuzzi where the kids could swim and play. There’s also a beautiful shared pool for guests. The service was outstanding and very responsive. Every request we made was taken care of right away, a level of care that’s rare with mass tourism these days. We’d call our stay an 11 out of 10. My fiancée and I were especially impressed by how clean everything was and by the service. The whole complex is spotless and has a modern look. The apartment is a peaceful place to stay while remaining close to everything: the beach is a 10-minute walk, and the airport and best restaurants are about a 15-minute drive away. I highly recommend it.

We felt right at home thanks to the staff, who were so kind and welcoming. The Nerium Luxury Suite was peaceful, modern, and beautifully maintained, and everything was spotlessly clean. That private whirlpool was a dream. We’ll definitely be back!
