Asteraki Aparthotel

The location worked well for us, with shops, restaurants and bars close by. Breakfast was good, though there wasn't much choice. Outside, the place is lovely and the pool was great, but the room wasn't what I expected. The bathroom had no hand soap or hand towel, and while there was a TV, there was no remote, so it was just for decoration. We had a floor towel at first, but it was taken away the next day.

The villa looks lovely from outside, and the pool is amazing. The rooms are old, the mattresses are hard like sleeping on the floor, and although there's wifi, it doesn't work. You only get one towel for the whole stay. The owner is very rude, honestly a bit of a psycho. I could go on and on. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The owner was terrible about everything, and the rooms and service were awful. Breakfast was only jam, bread and orange juice. The pool closed really early, and we had to keep quiet after 20:00 or his "security guard" would threaten to throw us out. The cleaning ladies came storming in at 8:00 without warning and started moving our things. The owner kept our pledge money, saying we'd taken his towels and broken a chair. One chair already had a broken leg when we arrived, and we told him, but he still took the money. Before leaving, we checked that all the towels were there. He did this to every second room in our group, taking 20€ per room. I know it may sound like I'm exaggerating, but it happened exactly as written. We should have called the police, and it was a mistake not to. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL!

The room was dirty, and the €20 deposit felt like a scam. The owner charged for the smallest things, even a little stain on a towel that would obviously wash out. He was extremely rude: because we were a bit loud on a graduation trip, he came into our room shouting. If he has the same trouble with young people every year, why rent apartments to student groups? A shower left water and shampoo foam all over the bathroom floor. The “kitchen” was useless, with only 4 glasses and nothing to cook with. Our towels weren't changed during the 4-5 days, and we got toilet paper only after three days. For the price, especially with that owner's behavior, I can't recommend it at all.
