Elisa and her family are ready to help with anything you might need. The villas are beautifully furnished, and come stocked with coffee and water. They have crisp white cotton sheets and excellent pillows. Each villa has a terrace, and two of them have pools. It's a short walk downhill to the beach and restaurants. You can also get an amazing breakfast at the Marriott-owned hotel next door. Elisa rents scooters and cars too!

This was my first trip to Patmos, so I can't say whether Theologos Houses is the island's best accommodation. I can say it was perfect for what I needed and better than I expected. The view changed through the day, and the cozy one-bedroom house felt private and comfortable. I didn't know when I booked how easy it would be to get to the rest of the island, but the location turned out to be excellent. I'll definitely come back.

We stayed in Theologos's Armonia Apartment in August 2015, and I'd come back. Patmos is a very special island, and Groikos is beautiful, with all you need for beach, wine, and food. The advert actually makes the apartment sound less nice than it is. We were told there was no sea view, but you can catch a glimpse of the sea from inside. Theologos and his charming Italian wife Elisa couldn't have been more helpful. I know what it takes to get guests to return because we own holiday villas ourselves. It’s a lovely four-bedroom house with a small pool. Skala is a bit of a way off, so you’ll definitely need transport if you stay here.
