The views are magnificent, and everyone in the village was so friendly. Bring a car. Our beautiful apartment had a private infinity pool, and Giannis and the team did all they could to make our stay pleasant. It was very clean and looked after daily. Breakfast was prepared with care each morning, towels were changed every other day, and rubbish was collected daily. Highly recommended.

We love it here and this was our second visit. The village, Kato Asites, is beautiful and still feels untouched by tourism. It's quiet at night, and during the day the pool is usually peaceful too, since most guests seem to head out on day trips. The kids love it. Air conditioning helps with the hot days, and the staff and manager are lovely. Breakfast is generous, fresh, and varied. There are vineyards nearby, including one you can walk to, and one of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at, Earino, is also within walking distance.

Nikos and his team made us feel welcome and took good care of us over our two weeks at Asion Lithos. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the grounds were cared for just as well, with olive trees, seating areas, and a decent pool that we needed in the heat. Up in the hills, this is a calm, peaceful spot in a working village, with views over vineyards and olive fields. Iraklio is about a 30-minute drive, though there are plenty of hills. The COVID restrictions made it even quieter, which is a real shame for the business. We'll definitely come back to Asion Lithos.

The pool never felt crowded, even though the ladies running the service told us the place was nearly fully booked. They were lovely. Our room was clean and well furnished, with two breathtaking balconies. Breakfast had so many different options that we couldn't begin to try them all. If you want a few days to unwind away from the crowds, this is a great place to relax. For fantastic food, head up the hill to Earino 🥰

Beautiful stone villas are set around a small pool and courtyard, with fruit trees and amazingly friendly, accommodating staff. It's about 30 minutes from Heraklion, secluded enough to feel peaceful without being too far away. One of the nicest places we've stayed, and incredibly relaxing.
