The apartment was clean and in good condition, but we’d booked a living room and a bedroom and were given a one-bedroom apartment instead. We stayed on a Sunday, and the techno-style music from the nightclub/bar next door was incredibly loud. It was draining after a long day.

After check-in time, our reservation was cancelled and we were left outside with our luggage. Expedia had to call the property directly because no code had been sent. I wouldn’t risk staying here. Choose a more responsible property.

The location is very central, the place was clean, and the beds were super comfortable. I also had two lovely balconies. Noise was the main drawback: on weekends it carried on late, while on weekdays the cafe downstairs started fairly early.

These were brand-new, cozy apartments right in the city center, with a luxurious feel. They were clean, easy to access, and good value for money.

I’d planned to stay for 9 nights, but left after just 1. The large windows didn’t block sound at all, so I heard motorbikes and drunk people at nearby bars shouting until 3am. The bed also had hair and stains, the furniture was dusty, and the apartment smelled dingy. For the rest of my trip, I stayed at another hotel in central Heraklion. Its room was soundproof, so I had both a convenient location and a peaceful stay. I can’t say the same about Griffin Suites.
