The staff were generally friendly and helpful, which was one of the few good parts of our holiday. The hotel’s location in Crete is beautiful, but it couldn’t make up for the maintenance problems and all the extra charges. We expected much more for what we paid and were left disappointed, especially after looking forward to an all-inclusive break at Porto Greco Village Hotel. For us, “all inclusive” in Turkey means nearly everything is covered, from facilities to beach services. Here, we kept having to pay extra for things we thought should be part of the package. The sauna wasn’t included, using the small play hall cost more, and even the hotel’s beach sunbeds weren’t free. After paying a significant amount, it was frustrating to keep reaching for our wallet. Our room also had problems: the bed was broken, and the entrance door to the unit was damaged, which affected our comfort. I can’t recommend this hotel if you want a proper, carefree all-inclusive holiday like in other popular destinations.

The rooms were lovely and clean, and the food changed every day and tasted great. Everyone on staff was kind and professional. Natalia from Guest relations and Artemis were especially helpful and upbeat, and we really appreciated their care. Thanks to them both. We’ll definitely be back!

Natalia from Guest Relations and Artemis on the Guest Relations Team were a real highlight. They were helpful and professional, as were Manager Mr. Aris and the rest of the staff. The rooms at Porto greco were new and clean, and the food was very good. These were my best holidays here.

The location worked well, right by the beach and with an easy walk along the beach boulevard into the centre. We could also find parking near the hotel without trouble. Most staff were friendly and helpful. A special thank you to the older gentleman who showed us to our room and handled our luggage, he was superb. Our room was nothing fancy, but there was enough space for five. Rain came in under the door, and the windows didn’t shut fully, so mosquitoes got inside. The pools were small, though there were plenty of free sunbeds around the hotel. The nearby beach area was small too, and the sunbeds cost €25 each. Food was average, with a couple of good meals. The drinks were worse, so based on our experience I wouldn’t recommend the all-inclusive programme.
