The hospitality was exceptional, and the rooms were comfortable, so it's a perfect place for a few nights in Hydra. You're right near the busy bars and restaurants. I didn't have any trouble with noise, and I'm sure they'd let you know if a room is closer to the action. I'd definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my 8 day stay. The location is terrific, just off the very pleasant harbor, though the port gets crowded when the daily small island cruise ship docks at 11:00. The guesthouse's nicest-view room is right above a taverna that stays open quite late. I personally like hearing the customers murmuring. Areti Guesthouse, or Pension, has a delightful terrace above those tavernas on the walkway below.

The service was superb, and the staff were friendly and quick to respond. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was fair for the price, and all the facilities worked. The pension is in a perfect spot in Hydra, and I'd definitely visit again.

Lovely place and great service. The air conditioner deserves an A+, we'd never have survived Hydra's heat without it))
