The rooms are small and cosy, and don't suit larger people. It's a short walk into town, and the location is reasonably quiet.

The room was lovely and well organized, and the host was extremely helpful and accommodating. Given that there are no cars on the island, the location worked out great. I'd definitely stay here again.

I waited nearly two hours to check in because there was no staff on site. I had to leave my luggage in the courtyard so I could get to a business appointment on time. When I came back about an hour later, the hotel still looked open, but no one was at reception and my bags had been left unattended on a couch by the entrance. When the receptionist finally arrived, she was rude and dismissive about my frustration. I told her the situation had made me late for work, and she said it was my problem. She spoke in an unprofessional, almost insulting way, as though they were doing me a favor by letting me stay. I don't recommend staying at Filenia hydra. Businesses shouldn't be allowed to operate while treating guests this way.

The estate and its units are stylish, with very convenient access and no stairs. The atmosphere was tranquil, like stepping into an old favorite book. The team offered heartfelt island hospitality at its best.
