Maritime Hotel Aparts

The staff were so kind and generous with their time that they made us feel completely welcome. I'd give them 6/5 stars. The pool area was nice, the pool bar food was good, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel is a convenient distance from Rhodes and close to a bus stop. The rooms are basic, but they cover the essentials and have lots of storage. Our shower was small and left the bathroom floor flooded, and the toilet kept running for a long time after each flush. We also saw some ants, at least on the first floor. The airport is very close, so planes came in almost directly overhead. The hotel can't control that, but the noise may bother some people.

The manager was very kind and accommodating, and I had no problems with the staff. I didn't use the pool, but had a look at the garden and pool bar area. It was nice, though a bit noisy for my taste, not a major issue. For a budget stay, the clean one-bedroom apartment was reasonably well equipped. The shower and curtain need maintenance. I was surprised to be charged €7 per day for the AC, as I'd never come across that on my trips before.

The bus stop is right beside the hotel, so getting to Rhodes Town is easy. Our apartment was spacious and clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here, and I'm sure we'll return as soon as we can.

We found it pleasant and affordable for a last-minute summer trip, and Anna at the pool bar was especially kind and helpful. They also let us check out late to fit our flights. The plane noise wasn't a problem for us, the sound was easy enough to block out. You could close your eyes and guess the airline. The location worked well for buses to Rhodes Town and the airport. The pool and bar were good value, and there were plenty of fresh food options. You could pay by card or cash and set up a bar tab. The rooms were typical for Greece, with what you need and a big fridge. The shower was small, dated, and just manageable. After 3-4 days, you might be ready for a swim in the sea, though it was usable. Air conditioning costs extra, but the price was low enough not to hurt.
