The room was charming, the views were breathtaking, and the location in gorgeous Santorini was hard to beat. Everyone on staff was warm and helpful, and the service made a beautiful stay feel even more special. Highly recommend.

Our five nights in the Honeymoon Villa came with what was probably the best view we've ever had. The huge villa had two bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen, a big terrace, and a private hot tub. It was once an 18th-century wine cellar, which gives the place a special charm, and the location felt very private compared with many stays along the Caldera paths. Breakfast came to the terrace daily, and the rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day. The staff helped with luggage and everything else, while Christoph and Michael took care of transfers and restaurant reservations. Mario welcomed us late at night with Vinsanto, the best Santorini wine, and homemade cherry juice, showed us the map, and pointed out restaurants, hotspots, and local hidden gems. Everything was so well organized. We're deeply grateful for the stay and highly recommend Altana Heritage for the view and hospitality.

Breakfast was included and served on our terrace each day, with phenomenal views. Our room didn't have its own pool, but it did have that terrace. From the upper deck, near two blue roof towers, the sunset views were amazing. The hotel is at one of the higher points and right by the path to Fira. We also hiked the trail to Oia, which took 2.5 hours. Imeraviglio is a small neighborhood, but it has restaurants and a supermarket, so you don't have to go to Fira every time. There's also a bar and restaurant with lovely seating and views, plus room service. Michael made everything personal and special, sorting out taxis and recommending and booking restaurants. We've never stayed anywhere quite like this. When we return to Santorini, we'll stay here again. Unbeatable, thanks to Michael and the crew.

We only wish we'd stayed longer, and we'll be back. Over our 35-day trip through Spain and Greece, with 15 hotels, this was the best one. Santorini felt like a dream, and this hotel made it come true. Our spacious, private suite had a separate bedroom and living area, plus our own terrace with a plunge pool and jacuzzi. Michael and all the staff gave superb service, from carrying luggage up all those stairs to sharing useful information about restaurants, buses, and activities. We felt very well looked after. Our photos can't capture how incredible the views were.
