Belle Etoile Villas

We stayed with our son a year ago, and only just realized we hadn't written a review. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end, and we have nothing to complain about. The room was spotless, the private pool clean and heated, and they provided a cot for our little one. Staff treated him kindly, too. We arrived close to midnight without internet access, so I couldn't read the messages explaining how to get into the room. I called, and they answered right away and helped us. Breakfast each morning was more than we could have hoped for. We're very grateful, have been recommending the place to everyone, and will definitely return.

It's a very quiet place with a beautiful sunrise view, but you'll need a car to stay here. The only breakfast letdown for me was that the scrambled eggs were too oily and the boiled eggs were cold. Everything else was fabulous. They also have the cutest kitten. Much recommended.

We had a great stay and would recommend this place. Our room was large and updated, with a comfortable bed, a good-sized bathroom, and, best of all, our own jacuzzi. Other guests were friendly and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Everyone used the shared pool, and there were plenty of places to sit with a drink and take in the beautiful views. The bar staff were lovely, with quick service and genuine smiles. We lost the last star because when we asked how to get around the island, they only suggested an expensive taxi. We later found a nearby bus stop and sometimes just walked. We also thought part of breakfast, the eggs and sausage, was mediocre at best.

The worst experience ever. The pool water was green and had trash in it, and there was no information saying the pool was seasonal. A beeping sound went on all day. The shower head had lots of green spots, so we didn't want to use it. It's a 25-minute walk from Fira Center. I wouldn't recommend it without a car, especially since part of the road is completely dark.
