Nero Luxury Suites Hotel

What has upset me most is the hotel's claim that it did laundry and removed the stains. That is completely untrue. Nobody did laundry for us or offered to, and laundry never even came up when I reported the pool staining. Someone only came to inspect the pool, then moved us the following morning to a room with the same pool problem. That suggests it wasn’t a one-off and has to do with how the pools are looked after. I’m angry that the hotel has lied about trying to resolve the issue during our stay. I changed my two-star review to one star because of this. Utterly disgraceful. This was a disappointing stay at Nero. I had been putting off writing a review. I was there for my birthday and got engaged during our Santorini trip, but even two months later the hotel experience still bothers me. The pool conditions and what seemed to be incorrect chemical levels ruined our expensive swimwear beyond repair and stained our skin. Staff offered no compensation. We also got locked out on the balcony after staff came to inspect the pool, and had to message several times before anyone let us back in. That didn’t feel very luxurious. Water pressure was inconsistent, WiFi kept cutting out, our view was of a gravel car park, and there was very loud construction next door. The photos don’t show that car park, and other reviews seem to crop it out deliberately. Our keys stopped working after four days, and I missed having a full-length mirror. I hope they improve their service and facilities. It still upsets me how much we spent on this trip, only for the hotel stay to tarnish it.

Nero Light-Filled Suites was such a relaxing place to stay. The location made it easy to explore, yet the suite still felt peaceful and private. Staff were friendly and professional, and made sure I had what I needed. The design is minimal and stylish, with lovely natural light. Everything felt carefully chosen, from the comfortable bed to the modern, clean bathroom. Breakfast arrived in my room each morning, and lunch was delicious and beautifully presented. A refined, calming stay. I can’t wait to come back! 🤍

The presidential suite’s terrace and private pool were gorgeous, and the modern rooms had a lovely Mediterranean feel. The location worked perfectly for us, with easy access to both Fira and Oia. I was sorry to leave such a beautiful hotel and the people who made us feel like family. This was the first part of our honeymoon, and the team made it wonderful from the start. Concierge Chrysa was quick to help with our questions and needs before we arrived. Check-in was smooth, and Charis and Dimitiris were helpful throughout the stay.

We spent three nights at Nero Suites while visiting Santorini and would love to come back. The suite was spacious and beautiful, and we especially enjoyed having breakfast each morning in our private outdoor area by the pool. It was quiet and private, but still in a very walkable spot.
