The host and cleaning staff were kind and helpful. The pool is nice, big, and heated, and the large patio has a great caldera view. From the pool you can see the other side of the island and the sea. The A/C is strong, there's a parking spot, and the Thira-Oia hiking path is right beside the place. Space is tight for three people. The bed only fits two, so the third person has to use the couch, which is a cushion on cement. The bathroom is much too small, and the tiny shower has no curtain, door, or wall, so water gets all over the floor. The sink and its area are small too, with little room for your things. There's “breakfast,” though I'd call it a “snack.” Anyone expecting a traditional breakfast will be disappointed. It's a 10-minute walk along the hiking path to Imerovigli proper, then another 5 minutes to the town center. This part of the path is mostly rocks, so wear good shoes if you have stability issues. The deck and patio views are lovely, and I don't regret staying, but I wouldn't come back. There are very few parking spaces in Imerovigli proper if you rent a car. The pay-for-parking lot there felt like a rip off, 10 euros for 24 hours regardless of how long you stay. If you want coffee shops, restaurants, markets, and so on right outside your door, this isn't the spot. Also, lots of cats! Cat lovers will be fine, but watch your food, they love grilled chicken and scrambled eggs.

Our private jacuzzi was the cherry on top, and we had all the privacy we wanted. The house is near the center of Imerovigli but surrounded by quiet and peace, unlike places in the very center of the village. We had everything we needed, and the caldera view left us astonished at every hour, from sunrise through midday to sunset. Definitely going to miss the place and its vibes. I love this island! Sotiris, you're such a great host. Bravo!

We were here for our honeymoon in mid October. The location is away from the crowds but still close to city life, just what we wanted. Panos was wonderful and helped with anything we needed. They offered transfers to and from the airport, and breakfast came promptly at 8 every morning with different foods each time. Housekeeping kept up with fresh towels, shampoo, espresso, and whatever else we needed. The pool is heated to about body temperature, perfect for a night swim when it gets chilly or around midday in the strong sun. There's an adorable, delicious little tavern right next door, plus a bus stop that can take you anywhere.

Our stay at the Nook was great. The space was clean and pleasant, and our host was friendly, helpful, and always available when we needed something. The only drawback was the lack of privacy at the pool for "The Clay's apartment, because of its position. Highly recommended.
