The night was a constant struggle with annoying issues. The worst were the smell of smoke, which I find disgusting and am sensitive to, and the light from a neighboring bathroom window shining all night through the bathroom window in my room. I need a dark space to sleep well. The refrigerator also made crazy noises, so I had to unplug it to get any sleep. Hot water took five minutes of running before it was warm enough to use, and the shower curtain did a poor job, with water dripping onto the floor. I understand this is a cheaper hotel and didn't expect a 5-star room when paying for a 2-star one. The staff were very friendly, polite, and efficient, but the room was pretty disappointing. There is private underground parking, though it's a maze and very hard to navigate and maneuver.

The beds were comfortable, but the room sometimes smelled odd and there were no outlets next to the beds. The hallways were dark, and the elevator was old. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast.

The rooms are economical and clean, with good air conditioning, a fridge, a decent-sized bathroom, and a small balcony. The hotel has free underground parking for guests, and the bus station is about a ten-minute walk away. It's less than ten minutes on foot from the lake and right among the restaurants and bars. Just the ticket!

The hotel is close to downtown Ioannina and fine for a one-night stay. I needed a garage or suitable parking when I booked. They do have a garage, but it was very difficult to get into, at least with my SUV, so I had to leave my car on the street.
