Kastro Guesthouse

The courtyard was peaceful, with flowers and a lovely view. Inside, everything felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Our room had space to relax, and the bathroom was a good size and very well cleaned. Staff were friendly and ready to help. Breakfast came nicely served, with pastries, meats, eggs, and fresh yogurt. The WiFi worked very well for guests.

We could walk to the lake in just a few minutes, and restaurants and shops are right outside the ring wall. The hotel sits in the old town within that wall, so traffic noise wasn't an issue, and there was private parking out front. Our welcome was warm, and we got helpful city information right away. The well-kept house has lots of charming details and stylish furnishings. Our superior double was spacious, with a couch and table, a very comfortable bed, and a bathroom with plenty of room. Nice weather meant we could have breakfast served at our table in the garden. We were impressed by the stay and would happily return when we're in the region. Highly recommended.

The budget room we booked for one night turned out better than we expected: spotless, quiet, and with a comfortable mattress. The woman at reception was especially kind and helpful. We were also very happy with how easy parking was and with the location, a short walk from the lake and near the old town. Breakfast was a highlight, with a range of traditional choices. I'd only suggest adding a few more savory options.

Xois made us feel welcome and was so helpful. I can hardly find anything to fault, a great place to stay.
