Lake Spirit Boutique Hotel & Spa

The staff were so sweet and helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices. We arrived on 5/4 and left on 7/4. On arrival, a staff member carefully showed us the room and its equipment. It was clean, spacious and luxurious, with comfortable beds. The location is nice, about a 10-minute walk from the center. I’d definitely come back.

The owners were amazing, and everyone was really nice and helpful. A really good four-star hotel.

Lake Spirit Hotel in Ioannina made a strong impression on me, especially for its cleanliness. I’ve travelled through 85% of Europe for work and holidays, and few hotels I’ve stayed in have matched its standards. The polished floors, spotless glass, fresh linens and pristine bathrooms all felt carefully maintained, as did the rooms and shared areas. That attention to hygiene added to my comfort and sense of wellbeing. The rooms are spacious, with elegant decor and thoughtful details in the furniture and lighting. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, high-quality food with a good range, from traditional Greek options to healthier choices and treats. It was attractively presented and served with care, making for a lovely start to the day. The welcome was warm from the start. Front desk staff were courteous, capable and quick to help. They communicated clearly and with cultural sensitivity, whether giving directions, offering local recommendations or just having a chat. They seemed to anticipate what guests needed and helped with a smile, so I felt welcome rather than like just another customer. English was spoken fluently by all the staff, which made communication easy for international visitors who don’t speak Greek. I never felt lost or misunderstood. Between the cleanliness, service, comfortable surroundings and easy communication, Lake Spirit offers a peaceful stay with plenty of character. I recommend it for both business trips and a relaxing break.

The staff were friendly and really nice, and the rooms were spacious and lovely. I had a great time at this hotel!
