Louros Beach

I've been here nearly three weeks and still haven't found a single thing to complain about. Everyone on staff has been incredibly nice and helpful, from the maintenance, cleaning and gardening teams to management, the owner and bar staff. I wish five stars could go up to eleven. I'd recommend this place to anyone, anytime.

We stayed for a week in August. The grounds and pool area were lovely and very clean, with plenty of beds, so getting one was never a problem. The pool was clean and a good temperature. Reception were friendly and helpful, and Martha and Harry at the pool bar in the evening were cheerful. There are friendly little cats around, no kids, and floaties are allowed in the pool. The Golden Sun next door has a small shop. The rooms were a gamble. Ours was tiny and nothing like the photos, while our friends had a huge room. The shower kept jumping from roasting hot to freezing cold. The air conditioning worked brilliantly, but charging extra for it felt like a rip off. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of cold options but not much hot food. The lunch menu was limited, though Delight Bar up the road was great for lunch. The location was decent, with a short walk to the beach and the strip. Pool bar service in the daytime was a different story from the evenings. The rumour is that Ellie smiled once in 2019, though I don't believe it. Service can be very slow, and she works alone, so if she's making cocktails, sangria or food, expect a long wait.

The gardens were lovely and the whole place was kept very tidy. The bar was good and affordable, and breakfast was fresh with a nice range of things. My room was cleaned every day. It was an enjoyable summer holiday, even with the extreme heatwave, and the pool kept me cool. I'd definitely visit again.

We had a spacious, spotless room for our seven night stay, and could use the safety deposit box for free, which was really good. The hotel was very clean throughout, and the friendly staff went out of their way to make our holiday a good one. The food was lovely, the pool area roomy with plenty of sunbeds, and the beach wasn't far away. The location is good too. If you fancy a full English, the airport cafe is nearby and it costs only 7 euros. I highly recommend it for a great holiday.
