Meteora Garden

I planned on three nights and ended up staying almost two weeks. Magda's Family made this feel like a little corner of paradise, with their warm hospitality and the nature all around. I found my own spot in their beautiful, big, wild garden, with a gentle atmosphere and a special view of the Meteore at night. The facilities were clean, the water very hot :-), and there were flowers everywhere thanks to Sophia's gentle touch. Giovanna was lovely and shared information about the history of the place, and Magda made us feel so welcome. For me, this is a special campsite in Meteora. The vibe is super!

The campsite was homely, colourful, and calm, with an amazing view of Meteora. The cats who came by our spot were a lovely bonus 😻. When we arrived late, the owner ordered takeout for us. She patiently answered all our questions with a smile, and when she didn’t know something, she made calls to get us the climbing information we needed. I’d definitely recommend this place and go back!

Thank you for the kind service. You’re a very good person, and I wish you all the best.

We turned up without a booking on our motorbike trip, and the family who run the site were lovely and helpful. They showed us a few pitches to choose from. Pitch 27 worked well for us with a motorbike and limited kit, especially with the handy stone table beside it. The shop has a few basic food and drink items, and the showers and toilets were spot on. A wonderful camping stay, thank you.
