Mirabilis Boutique Hotel

Breakfast was phenomenal, with lots of options and everything delicious. The room was modern, clean, and had all we needed, plus an incredible view from the private balcony through its floor to ceiling sliding glass door. Alex greeted us at the door with a warm welcome and glasses of delicious homemade lemonade while we checked in. Everything about this hotel was perfect. I highly recommend Mirabilis and only wish we’d had more time there.

This lovely hotel opened in 2024 and has spacious rooms and outdoor seating. It’s just outside town, so it’s peaceful, but still a short walk to dinner in town. They serve breakfast only.

The rooms are great, and breakfast was super and delicious. It’s a great hotel with service minded employees. If you’re traveling by car, the location works well, though it’s a little outside the center.

We felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and every staff member we met was warm and friendly. Our arrival was delayed, but that was no trouble for Andreau, who welcomed us and suggested a great place for dinner. Evie was there each morning with coffee and explanations of the breakfast choices. She also went out of her way to help with our lost luggage and get it back. The hotel is only 2 years old and has 10 rooms, four downstairs and six upstairs. We stayed in room 104, which had a private balcony with chairs and a countryside view. There’s ample parking and outdoor seating. The room was spacious, with a huge bed, and the armchair can turn into a single bed. Modern touches include electric blinds, centrally controlled lights, a TV with Netflix and other online applications, plus an in room coffee machine and water. Breakfast has plenty to choose from, including omelettes you can order or a continental option. We enjoyed both. I especially loved the feta in filo pastry, Greek yoghurt with honey, and sour cherry juice. It’s great value, tucked away in a quiet, truly tranquil setting for resting while you explore this magical place. The town center is a 5 minute drive, and the monasteries are 15 minutes away.
