Theatro Hotel Odysseon

I enjoyed chatting with the owner about the town and region, and her adorable dog was fun to play with. The hotel's theater theme reflects her love of theater. It's a clean, cozy, welcoming boutique hotel, with helpful and accommodating staff. You can easily walk to Kalambaka city square, restaurants, and shops. Glad I got to stay here!

The white cats greeting us were a lovely touch, and the homemade breakfast had delicious food with plenty of choice. The staff were very kind, and the rooms were modern and super clean. One issue was how much sun our room got, which made it extremely hot. The fridge also made quite a bit of noise, and it was hard to sleep with it on.

The staff and service made our three nights here especially enjoyable. They were kind and helpful, spoke good English, and gave us a map and useful information about visiting the monasteries. Parking was easy, and the town's tavernas and shops were just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel sits beside Meteora's rock formations, with a spacious, nicely decorated room and a small balcony overlooking the pool and rocks. We had a very comfortable queen bed, plus a fridge, kettle, coffee maker, tea, coffee, and the other basics. There's also a garden, hot tub, garden bar, and a tucked-away kids' play area with a trampoline. The breakfast room was lovely, with a good mix of hot and cold food, good coffee, and great service. The bathroom decor was strange, and the water supply wasn't great, but it had everything we needed. A great place to stay, and I'd definitely come back.

The balcony gives an excellent view of the Meteora. This is a well-maintained, established hotel with an old-school feel, and room service was quick. The shower area in my room was extremely small, with glass panels that felt restrictive, and it took quite a while for the hot water to arrive. Still, it's an excellent choice for a stay in Kalampaka.
