You wake to the rocks and two of the monasteries right in front of you. It's not luxurious, but the place has all the essentials for a great time in Meteora. The rooms were clean, the staff very nice, and a midnight check-in was possible.

A great little room right at the foot of the rocks. The hosts were very friendly, and breakfast was massive, the very old-school Greek hotel kind, if you know 😅😍

The location was easy to get to, relaxed, and had a lovely view. The room’s air conditioning worked great. I’d made a mistake with my reservation, but they were kind enough to overlook it and find us rooms. Thank you!

We booked for one night. At first, the woman was very nice and explained how to get around Meteora. Later, while I was reading with a dim light on, I saw a small bug cross the blanket. With the light on, I could see lots of bedbugs in different sizes. I crushed several that had already bitten me. We moved to the other bed and changed the blanket, but found a couple more during the night. We barely slept. At breakfast, when the other guests weren't nearby, we explained what had happened and asked to change rooms, and maybe get a discount because the night had been so stressful. She took us to the room and started pulling off sheets and blankets and shaking everything. I tried to explain that the bugs wouldn't necessarily be visible during the day, but she didn't listen and told us to put our things in reception. It was early, though, and we'd paid for a room and wanted somewhere to leave our belongings. She kept moving mattresses and searching in silence. Then she said, “Ah, you saw 20 but I can't find even one...” She didn't apologize or offer us another room, and seemed very stressed as she carried on looking. We picked up our things and left. Several days later, my whole body was still itching from the bites, and there were blood spots on the sheets and wall. I showed her the spots. In her reply to my review, she didn't take what I said seriously. She seems not to understand bedbugs: cleaning alone isn't enough, since they're tiny and more drastic measures are needed. They may spread to the next bed sooner or later. I don't like leaving a bad review, but bedbugs are serious, and she didn't take us seriously.
