Bonatsa Beach House Kimolos

Eleni was so kind and made sure I had everything I needed. The service went well beyond what I expected, and they even transferred me to another location, The Windmill, because it was more accessible to places. My room was beautiful and very clean, and the included breakfast was better than what you’d get at most restaurants. I wish I could give more than five stars. I’ll miss the breakfast and the undeniable charm of Kimolos. Thank you to the Kimolos team for making my visit so special.

Bonatsa hotel is a great find, right by the beach on a tiny, incredibly picturesque island, just twenty minutes from the better-known Milos. It’s an ideal setup if you want to relax, with lovely views and a great beach. What stays with me most is the hospitality. Leonidas, who manages much more than the bar, and Valentina, who makes a five star breakfast and whatever snack you ask for, were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Their care went beyond their job descriptions, and we’re grateful. A fantastic off-the-beaten-track escape for comfort, great views, and a taste of an authentic Greek island.

It’s quiet, relaxing, and only 35 meters from an amazing beach. Everything was very clean, and the local staff were ready to help at any time. Breakfast is brought over each day from their location, "WindMill," or you can have it there, and you can ask for whatever you like. There are lots of food spots around and some very good restaurants. The price is really attractive for what you get.

The photos of the place, its location, and the surroundings didn’t match reality at all. We also weren’t told in advance that the breakfast included in the price would be served at another location 3 klms away. We were unhappy with the whole experience, especially the unprofessional way we were treated. Our holidays were ruined. I spoke several times with the manager and the general manager of the Aria group, and they confirmed we would get a refund. We’re still waiting. They say it will be sorted out, but it’s hard to believe an organization like this can’t make a simple ebanking transfer after 2 days.
