I loved staying here, so maybe they've sorted out some of the staff problems other people mentioned. The hotel and rooms are beautifully designed, and the beach is less than a minute away on foot. The infinity pool is wide enough that you could spend your whole stay there. Breakfast had lots of options, including a plate you could choose from the kitchen, and after five nights I still enjoyed it. I rented a car through the front desk and recommend doing that. They brought it over the same day, and I just left the keys when I was done. aegon made a good base for exploring the island. The town scene isn't for me. I went once for a couple of hours one morning to have a look, but with beaches spread all over the island, I didn't see much point in spending more time there. Elia was my favorite beach. Kalafati is 6m from the hotel and has free sunbeds and a very low-key feel, though it's not the place for people-watching or partying if that's what you're after.

We stayed in the second building, about 200m from the main one by the beach. It was quiet and charming there, and the hotel and rooms are generally modern and very nice. There isn't a private beach, and a large parking lot sits between the main building and the beach. We noticed trash containers beside it, but couldn't really smell them. It was more of an appearance issue. The staff were helpful in general, but not especially friendly, particularly the man at the front desk. It's a nice hotel, though it needs quite a few improvements.

The pool is roomy enough for a swim and has a lovely sea view. Breakfast was great, and the rooms are very large, with huge balconies. The gym is tiny, but good enough for Mykonos. The location is beautiful, and the staff were attentive. The front desk was very friendly, and the barman and restaurant team were lovely, with special thanks to Dimitris. A few things could be better: the cleaning wasn't perfect, and I suspect they don't use vacuum cleaners. The towels were small and not great quality, and I didn't enjoy the lunch food. A Greek salad with imported cherry tomatoes? Still, I'm giving it a 5.

We came with my girlfriend and my family and had a lovely stay. The hotel is fairly new and has some good tech features. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very nice. The food was better in the building by the beach. We'd definitely come back.
