Daily essentials were only a two-minute walk away, with a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, and cafés nearby, and the location worked well for exploring the area. The room was beautifully designed and kept in immaculate condition. Breakfast was a really generous, varied buffet, better than any I’ve seen abroad. The host was kind and attentive, even making us a matzah omelet when we asked. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

I was appalled by how this was handled. After I booked well in advance, the host canceled at the last minute, then told me another booking wanted a longer stay than ours. When I called again to make a new reservation for a holiday weekend six months away, I was told it was too early, even though rooms were listed on Booking.com. The host said a booking through that platform would be canceled again. There was availability shown there at one price, but she said she hadn't worked out the holiday-weekend rate yet and that it would go up significantly. If I booked six months ahead and locked in the listed price, she said she'd cancel it. Rude and disorganized, and petty theft in my book. I wouldn't recommend dealing with people like this. There are plenty of other places nearby that don't cancel at the last minute or raise prices whenever they feel like it, and that have some dignity.

There isn't much here beyond a place to sleep and take a bath, since there's no kitchen, safe, or proper fridge, just a small one for water bottles. Still, the room was nice, new, and basic, with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV, and a balcony. It's generally quiet, though being by the road means it can get loud at times. A good place to stay if you need a room nearby, and it won't disappoint, but I don't think the price matches what's offered.

Breakfast was the best part, and we could eat out on the balcony in the sunshine with a mountain view every morning. Our room was modern, roomy, and clean, and the host was really nice. We had a wonderful time here.
