Blue Lagoon Queen

I’ve just come home from a brilliant, really relaxing holiday. The place was beautiful and clean, and all the staff were friendly and happy to help. The little luxury touches made the stay memorable, and it delivered what I expected from a 5-star resort. The only downside was that, apart from the shop on the complex, other shops are about a 10-minute walk away. Otherwise, it felt like paradise. Thanks to everyone at the hotel, from reception, entertainment, housekeeping, bars and restaurant staff, and Kostas the Tui rep. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a fantastic week in a room with a jacuzzi. The hotel and resort are lovely, with beautiful pools, plenty of great sunbeds, lovely park scenery, excellent restaurants, tasty food, and the beach right outside. It’s a little way from the city, but we knew that already. The hotel can arrange a taxi, car rental, or a combined bus ticket to Thessaloniki. Everyone on staff, from the cleaners and lifeguards to reception and the restaurant and bar teams, was fantastic, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay great. If you want peace, relaxation, good food, and swimming, this place fits the bill. See you soon!

Everything from the rooms and restaurants to the pool and shared areas was spotless. The buffet restaurants offered plenty of choice, and the staff were friendly, polite, and spoke very good English. The evening entertainment was disappointing. The team’s show ends at ten and repeats every week. On their day off, there’s a show from an outside provider, but it wasn’t advertised anywhere in the hotel. We saw it in our second week along with just seven other people. The hotel is on the beach, but there are no shops within a half-hour walk, just a supermarket and a few bakeries. We had a restful stay, but wouldn’t return.

The hotel looks beautiful and has a stylish feel, and the staff were friendly. But for the five-star ratings, I expected more. There were vegetarian choices, though they were pretty much the same each time. The pool music was very upbeat and party-like for a place aimed at kids and families.
