Beach Boutique Hotel

I love being able to wake up by the sea every day without paying 500 euros for a room, like at some other tourist islands. This is a small boutique hotel with just 16 rooms. The staff are friendly and help with everything. Rooms are basic but perfectly fine, as is breakfast. The bar closes at 7 p.m., so nights are usually quiet and peaceful, with a security guard on duty all night. It’s not a five-star hotel, and it’s basic and a little noisier, so bring earplugs or ask for an upstairs room. For more luxury, La Mer hotel is just around the corner.

The atmosphere here is so relaxing, and the rooms feel cozy. I’ve stayed before and I’m sure I’ll be back again 😉. The location is great, too. Even with the season almost over, everyone was still so friendly and professional. Thanks to Rudi at the front desk for being welcoming, the cleaning ladies for freshening up the rooms, Adrian for looking after the white beach, and the kitchen lady for making such good food ☀️

There’s a lot to do around the hotel, with shops and restaurants nearby, plus car rental and a summer cinema. Kamari also makes a good base for seeing the rest of the island. The airport transfer took about 15 minutes, and the whole village is near the airport, so planes pass close by. I didn’t find the noise bothersome, and for me it even added to the charm. It’s not something unique to this hotel. The hotel has just 12 rooms and really does feel like a beach boutique place. It’s right by the beach, with a bar and restaurant of its own, and a small but useful pool with comfortable loungers and beds that guests can use for free. Rooms have been renovated and are cleaned daily, with fresh towels. Mine had a balcony, and the sea or mountain views are both good. Breakfast was excellent. There isn’t a huge spread, but with around 20 guests that seems fair. There was enough choice, and the food was fresh and tasty. I booked all seven nights of my Santorini stay here and would give the hotel five stars without hesitation. A couple of things mentioned in other reviews don’t seem like reasons to judge the hotel. Beach loungers are free when you order a drink, meal, or snack, which is common in Kamari. The people offering massages and selling things on the beach aren’t hotel employees and move around the whole beach. They can be annoying, but that’s not really down to the hotel. Greetings to all the staff. You work hard to make guests happy!

The room was on the small side, though we had a patio and a sea view, and breakfast was good. What really made it for us was the staff, who were fun to spend time with. We hung around the bar and pool and felt more like friends than guests. Beach Botique Hotel is right on the beach road, close to shops and restaurants. We were very glad we chose it and would happily stay again.
