We'd enjoyed Irini's beach & restaurant on two earlier visits, so we booked a room there this year. It was a complete disappointment. We had to leave early for family reasons after just two of our seven nights, and didn't get a cent back. The room's air conditioning was so loud we couldn't sleep. There wasn't even a bottle of water when we arrived, and we didn't feel any Greek hospitality. The rooms are way overpriced, with neither breakfast nor a beach umbrella included, both of which would be typical in other places. I can't recommend it.

The owner manages the property herself, and they arranged a shuttle from the airport that arrived on time. The hotel is right on the beach, where you can watch the sunrise, and we enjoyed having a nice balcony. Since it's on a pedestrian-only street, you do have to walk a bit with your luggage. Breakfast wasn't provided, but there's a restaurant next door.

Get up early and you can catch the sunrise. There's also a great walk nearby to the ancient ruins. We stayed at Irini's hotel for a couple of nights while visiting Santorini, and found it clean and spacious, with a very clean, modern bathroom. We had lunch at Irini's restaurant too, and the food was very nice. Hotel guests get 10% off.

We came back three times during our six-day trip, and every meal was delicious. The portions and quality are great for such low prices. The waitress was especially lovely and worked so hard. We’ll miss eating here, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

The beach is quieter at this end, and the location is really good. During our ten days in Santorini we ate at Irinis three times, and the food and service were superb each time. The mussel saga ski and sea bass were probably the best I’ve ever tasted.
