Pueblo Viejo Suite

We enjoyed our one-night stay before our next flight, and the airport was only a seven-minute drive away. The host welcomed us with local wine and some breakfast snacks. The apartment was clean, quiet, and centrally located on the island. Kamari beach is about a 30-minute walk, or you can take the bus from a stop five minutes away. Buses run every 30 minutes toward Fira and Oia. The kitchen was well equipped, though it had no frying pan or dish towel, and we missed having a clothes dryer for our beach towels. The bathroom was clean, but there was calcine buildup on the hoses and shower. The private terrace had just one sunbed, and it looked old and beat-up. The apartment also didn't look like the pictures, and seemed a bit old, in need of refreshing and cosmetic repairs.

The room was clean, brand new, and fully furnished. Yiannis was the best host, bringing anything we needed right to the door in 5-10 minutes. The location was fine, five minutes from Kamari and close to everything, though you'll need to rent a scooter. Thanks, Yiannis!

I felt completely at ease here and would happily return. The suites and service were both really good, and I had an amazing stay. I visited in the off season, and if you want somewhere a little away from the usual Santorini path, Pueblo viejo is a great fit.

We got there earlier than expected, but it was no issue at all. They welcomed us with a bottle of wine and even printed our flight boarding passes when we asked. The service was very good, and I highly recommend it.
