Santorini Kastelli Resort

Adonis, the hotel manager, really stood out for his professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. His hospitality made our stay especially memorable. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with a perfect location. The staff were welcoming and attentive too. I’d highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

We first stayed here in an Executive Room with a small semi-private pool, and enjoyed that visit just as much as our later stay in the Kastelli Luxury suites for our wedding. The suites were spacious, bright, modern, and well stocked. Their pool is private for suite guests, though in our swim up room the bed was often in the shade. The host took care of bookings, gave us suggestions when we weren’t sure where to go, and kept us organized and informed. Guests from the main hotel can’t enter the luxury suites, but suite guests can use the main resort, so we had privacy while still being able to see our family. The suites were expensive, though compared with similar places in Imerovigli they cost about half as much, which made them somewhat reasonable. The location is ideal, one street back from the pedestrian road with its restaurants and bars, far enough away to avoid the noise. Breakfast had a huge buffet selection and was delicious, though perhaps not up to five star standards compared with the rest of Europe. Everyone enjoyed it. Bar prices were similar to those around the hotel. The atmosphere and amenities were great, and we used the gym and spa, including a fantastic treatment. We’ll keep coming back when we visit Santorini.

The staff were outstanding, and the hotel went beyond what we expected for a relaxing holiday in Santorini. Our room had a private balcony facing the pool, a lovely place to begin and end the day. There’s a large pool with a pool bar and very comfortable sunbeds, plus three smaller pools for a quieter, more private swim. It’s in the heart of Kamari, just a few minutes from the lively promenade lined with shops, restaurants, and bars. A couple of things could be improved: there was an unpleasant smell in the shower, and breakfast could be much better.

Raphaella was the highlight of the stay, and her service was perfect. We arrived early and were allowed into our room, then got an amazing upgrade to a swim up suite. Everything from beginning to end was phenomenal. I’d recommend this resort to anyone looking for a true luxury stay in Santorini.
