We felt right at home during our week at dempla heights villas. The house matched the pictures and had everything we needed, and the view from the villa was lovely. There are several nice restaurants in the neighborhood, with very friendly people, and beautiful Balos Beach/Lagoon is nearby. We’d happily return and recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for having us ❤️❤️

The local beach was so quiet and lovely that even though I usually stay out of the sea, I couldn't resist getting in. We came at the beginning of July, just after the place had opened, and had a fantastic stay in Villa Seilta. The facilities were outstanding and the views spectacular. The village felt authentic, and the locals were charming and friendly. There's a short, 10 minute bus ride to Platanias for the usual tourist options, including restaurants and bars, though we also ate at some lovely places in the village. From Platanias, little road trains take you around the area and into the mountains to see authentic Cretan life. There's lots of gorgeous scenery to explore. Petronella was a wonderful, welcoming and helpful host. We loved it, and we're going back next year with some family.

This is a beautiful place with lots of space, bright, large rooms, comfortable bathrooms, and everything feels new. The view is amazing. I'd definitely recommend it, as long as you have a rental car.

The villas are new, with easy access to both the mountains and the beach, and the owner is wonderful. We loved the accommodation and the view. A great choice for a quiet retreat in Crete.
