A simple room, but very clean and good value. There was plenty of hot water and a decent-sized fridge. The pool is lovely, and it's a very quiet place, though there's no bar.

We had a really nice stay, and both the host and cleaner were lovely. The pool and its surroundings were clean and peaceful. My back hurt quite a bit after the first night because the mattresses weren't very good. There was also an unpleasant moldy smell from the bathroom, probably coming from the drain.

The owner is such a good host. She offers water when you arrive late and asks whether you'd prefer a ground-floor or first-floor apartment. We booked through Jet2, but I'd happily book direct next time. We had a brilliant week and are already talking about going back, even though we usually say we won't stay somewhere twice. It's a perfect spot, five minutes on foot from Kardamena centre but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. The area is flat, which helps on the late walk back after the bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a self-catering holiday. We ate out every night because it's so cheap. We hired a quad to see the rest of the island, though you don't need one if you're staying in Kardamena. The fridge is a good size for cold drinks, and a bottle of vodka fits in the freezer 😉. Hot water was plentiful, which is nice and not always the case in hotels. The pool is refreshing and not too deep. I'm 6'1 and could touch the bottom comfortably.

Friendly, polite staff, and a great location. It's quiet, yet the beach, shops and restaurants are all easy to reach on foot. The room and facilities were lovely and clean.
