Ladikos Beach Hotel

Vasilios, the owner, was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal for people watching, with a supermarket and bakery right outside, and a taxi and bus stop there too. The square was about 40 metres down the road, with great bars and restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The airport was ten minutes away, and a taxi cost 15 euros in June 2023.

We stayed for nine days in mid-April and loved it. The room was nice and clean, everything was well organized, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is close to an intersection, with all the shops nearby. One small downside was noise in the hallway to the room in the mornings and evenings. We’d definitely come back.

The location is the best part, right in the middle of everything, and the air conditioning was good. The price is about average and service was okay. Internet was VERY slow, too slow even to stream YouTube. The beds were ordinary, but not uncomfortably hard. The room was reasonably clean, though the bathroom was questionable when we arrived. It was just okay.

The sheets smelled bad and often weren't cleaned, and the owners came across as rude and focused only on money. I hated staying here. There was no thought for guests trying to enjoy their holiday, which was especially disappointing given how friendly Greeks are generally said to be.
