Oceanis

The rooms were nice, and the cleaning staff did a good job every day, taking away the garbage too. Some staff members were nice and some weren't. Michael, who works evenings, was especially friendly and chatty, and often asked how our day had gone. Water from the showers spilled onto the bathroom floor, but there was another drain there, so it was okay.

The location in the middle of town was hard to beat, with beaches, the port, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and buses all within walking distance. At Oceanis Hotel in Pigadia, Karpathos, we had a wonderful week in the first week of July. The owners and staff were warm and friendly. Our recently renovated room was spotless, with comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea. It was bright and airy, with air conditioning, a balcony, mini fridge, TV, and everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and homemade, with lots of eggs, breads, jams, fruit, and yogurt. I'd highly recommend the hotel and will definitely come back.

This was the best hotel I've stayed in. We had a few small problems in the room, but they were fixed with care as soon as we mentioned them. The welcome felt so warm and loving, and the breakfast was great too. Many thanks and hugs!

The location was ideal, with the beach, shops, and restaurants in Pigadia all close by. The receptionist was a mixed experience: the man was always kind and greeted us whenever we came and went, while the woman came across as very unfriendly and, in my opinion, should take customer service more seriously. The air conditioning in our first room didn’t work. We asked her to arrange a repair while we were out, but it still wasn’t working that evening, and the man at reception hadn’t even heard about the problem. He kindly moved us to another room where the AC worked. It was a good stay overall, though her handling of the complaint cost the hotel a star from me.
