It’s in a good spot in the middle of the island, and the price was really good. Christina, Anthos, and their friends were very kind and always smiling. The room was clean and had air conditioning, and the service was good. I recommend it!

Never again. I can’t recommend this place. We often stay in hotels like this one in Greece. The room was very basic and smelled damp, though that wasn’t the main issue. We arrived at 10 a.m. and had to wait five hours to check in. She had only asked by email what time we’d arrive so she could sell us her expensive transfer. I left my Paul Hawit wristband on the nightstand and didn’t wear it during our stay, but it was gone after the room was cleaned. That was really upsetting. She couldn’t print our boarding passes because she didn’t have a computer, though our booking papers were printed when we arrived. On our last night, she told a guest to be quiet, but then laughed loudly on the balcony until 1 a.m.

For the price, it’s best not to expect much. The location is excellent, though.

The room was €50, with no breakfast or complimentary water, and cheaper places are available. They pushed the €20 pickup even though the local bus costs about €3. They also strongly promoted the volcano trip without mentioning that it was a 40-minute walk from the pension. They told me 15 minutes, which really wasn’t true. I wasn’t told either that the ropeway costs €6 each way, or that you can go down the steps for free.
