Efi, the host, was incredible and couldn’t have done more to accommodate us. The town nearby had delicious food, and the location in the middle of the island was great. My girlfriend and I loved Utopia Villas so much. Our jacuzzi room was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. It was an amazing, romantic, relaxing experience, especially for couples. I’d recommend it to everyone.

I booked the executive suite at Utopia Villas through their website in February 2024 for July 2024. I gave them my credit card details, and the booking was accepted and confirmed. A month later, to my astonishment, they emailed to say they had cancelled it. After many calls and emails, I finally got a reply: they’d given the apartment to someone else who paid the full amount immediately. They offered me a smaller suite that didn’t meet the same standards. They cynically said they could cancel any booking at any time, just as I had the right to cancel for free. I found this attitude outrageous and sent all the evidence to the Greek National Tourism Office. They launched an investigation that, I was told, could result in a €5000 fine for Utopia Villas. I also filled out the necessary forms for the Ombudsman to investigate these practices. I won’t speculate about how the apartment I booked was still available on the website. I’ll leave it to the authorities to apply the law, but I thought it was my duty to warn people that booking with Utopia Villas could end in major disappointment. In all my years of travel, I’ve never experienced anything like it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they somehow remove my review.

We had our own Jacuzzi, and staying with my husband in such a beautiful place at an affordable price was wonderful. The rooms were really spacious, clean, and well maintained. Efi made the visit even more special, and we were so grateful for our host. This place felt like heaven on earth. I highly recommend it, and I already miss the place and Efi!

Efi made Utopia a special place for us, going above and beyond to help with all our questions and concerns. She arranged our ATV and set up the pick-up and drop-offs. My wife and I had an amazing stay here. I’d recommend renting a car or ATV to get around.
