Mirsini Pansion

We liked the central island location, roomy space for three, comfortable beds, and the friendly hosts. It was quiet on weekends, with little noise from nearby bars or hotels, and it was a budget-friendly Santorini option. Some things need work: the kitchen wasn't well equipped, the windows need renovating, and the balcony wasn't clean. The hosts were kind, but communication was difficult, possibly because of age-related issues. We had a pleasant stay, but wouldn't return. The property needs updates to compete with other Santorini accommodations.

The beds were very comfortable, and the owner waited for us despite our late arrival after a flight delay. The place is cute and clean, though there isn't a clear sign. You can spot the house in the pictures. It's 500m from a bus stop and a 15-minute walk to the bus station or Thira.

The facilities were fine, but the staff interaction was awful. While we were still asleep in bed, a woman came into the room without permission and yelled that we hadn't booked for three people and two nights. We showed her the booking receipt, but she kept shouting inside the room. It was overwhelming and really drained us. She apparently realized her mistake later, but never apologized. A complete lack of respect.

After we described our bad experience at Mirsini Pansion in a Booking.com review, the owner marked our booking as a no-show, which caused the review to disappear. We contacted Booking.com customer service, and they checked into it. They told us Mirisini Pansion had cancelled many bookings days after the stays ended, including ours, and the removed reviews from those customers, like ours, mentioned sexual harassment.
