The bathroom looked like it belonged in the First World War, the beds were awful, and there was dirt and so much noise. I've traveled all over, and this is the first time I've run into this kind of nonsense. Someone might as well sleep on a bench.

The manager eventually told me I could find another place myself and said he would refund the deposit I had sent. That came after I called a second time about the state of the apartment. The first time, the person who answered said someone would come clean it. A while later a barefoot man came down and tried, but the cleaning wasn't successful. We had a bad feeling from the start. We arrived at 5 p.m. and the reception was closed, so the coded “automated” entrance door wasn't working. After several tries we got inside. We had been told the apartment keys would be hanging on the door. Inside, the place was very old and clearly needed renovation. The air conditioner didn't work, and the bathroom was filthy and full of hair. I'm writing this so nobody else ends up misled by this accommodation the way we were. One of the worst places to stay in Santorini, in my personal experience.

For the price, this is a very good option. The hotel is picturesque and centrally located.
