Soleado Luxury Villas

The private pool and modern building were good points, though I wouldn’t call it luxurious. Stavros, the manager, was kind and accommodating, and is the only reason I might return. On both visits, Natasha, the head of service, handled things poorly. First time she suggested using bathroom towels at the pool because we had too many for three people, until the chamber maid got us pool towels. On our second stay she said the TV channels didn’t work because it was a smart TV, and we’d need to connect our own devices. The website promises a morning kalimera welcome treat, but we got it only once, on the second visit. Natasha seemed negative about requests and didn’t know what was meant to be provided. We had mosquito coils the first time, but none the second, and the chamber maid had to correct her about whether they were included. Supplies were skimpy: three coffee capsules and three sugar sachets for two nights, a few paper napkins, and a couple of dishwasher tablets. We got tired of asking for more. On arrival the second time, Natasha couldn’t find the front door keys and said they should be on the kitchen table. I let her in to check, while I entered through the veranda door, which was luckily open. She eventually got the keys back from the previous guests, after the chamber maid pointed out they hadn’t been returned. The worst was when she told us to leave by 10 or 11 at the latest, claiming other guests were due. I checked with Stavros, who kindly said we could leave much later as originally agreed, since nobody was arriving that day. By then we’d already packed, and the pool was getting dirty with dead bugs as the water purification had stopped working on our last day. The nearby beach is hard to get into because of rocks. I’d have rated this four stars without the inconsistent service, poor location and beach, and especially Natasha’s poor, immature behavior.
