The bed was so comfortable that I slept better than I have in a long time. I spent four nights at Aegean of Amorgos and really didn't want to go. My room had sea views on one side and mountains on the other, with large windows that brought in lots of light while still keeping the room private. The shower's remote controlled color changing lights were a fun, relaxing touch. It's in a quiet part of Katapola, but close to everything. The whole place felt fresh and spotless, and the friendly atmosphere started as soon as I walked in. Everyone was lovely, especially Dimitri, the manager. He was always smiling, happy to give advice based on what I felt like doing, and clearly enjoys welcoming guests. I'll be back to Amorgos, and I'll call Dimitri first. Thanks for everything, and keep that great energy!

I loved the spacious rooms and all the romantic little details. The views are breathtaking, and the location feels iconic. Everyone on staff was kind, accommodating, and understanding. It was such an unforgettable stay that I'm already looking forward to coming back next year.

From the hotel, it's only a two minute walk to Katapola harbour, yet the street itself is extremely quiet. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped, and have wonderful views across the bay. The owner was very helpful, with valuable advice for planning our days in Amorgos.

The service offered us no support, which made an already uncomfortable stay worse. We'd booked a Deluxe room, but ours felt claustrophobic, had almost no space in the WC, and smelled as if there was moisture everywhere. Given the good reviews, I suspect this may be the one bad room, but whoever draws the "luck" of getting it is left with poor accommodation and service. If you stay here, you may want to specifically ask not to be put in that problematic room, or take your chances. It's a shame to pay for a Deluxe room and end up with something like this.

Katapola is a good base here, with the port, places to rent a car or scooter, restaurants, and nice spots to spend time all nearby. The room itself was comfortable and very nice, and the staff were consistently kind and helpful. I'd recommend it for a stay on beautiful Amorgos!
