Thomas Villas on the beach Katapola

We booked first-floor Rooms 1 and 4 at Thomas Villas and Studios for our group of eight, four adults and four kids. The charming decor made the rooms feel cozy. The place is right in the heart of Katapola Bay port, with both ends easy to reach and the beach just across the street. We watched beautiful sunsets every evening. The private courtyard was spacious and especially useful: the kids could play safely while the adults relaxed with drinks or got ready. The outdoor shower was a lifesaver for washing beach sand off, especially from all the kids' nooks and crannies. Anita kept the rooms and courtyard spotless. Her cleaning was outstanding, and she was always around, helpful and trustworthy, which gave us peace of mind with so many belongings. The owners live on the island and were often around Katapola, keeping the property in great shape and sorting out any issues quickly. The kids also loved playing with their cats and chickens. There's easy parking on site, and the port still feels authentic rather than overrun by tourists, with delicious local food everywhere. A real gem, book without hesitation!

The owners also rent cars at great prices, which is a nice bonus. The apartments are right by the beach, comfortable, clean, and serviced every day. They offer excellent service for travelers and could well be the best choice on Amorgos.

The owner was very kind and waited for us despite the ferry being two hours late. We stayed one night in a room on the road to Katapuola port, with a sea view. It was a little damp, but otherwise fine.
