The beds felt like concrete slabs, and the rooms were old, dated, and dirty. We stayed for 10 days; the sheets were never changed, and towels were changed only twice. Even then, they were stained and dirty. The bins weren't emptied every day, despite what was advertised. When they were emptied, it was around 3-4pm. We have timestamped photos. Used toilet paper has to go in a small broken bin that also isn't emptied every day. There were mosquitoes and bugs everywhere, and the place often smelled of sewage. Filthy accommodation. There were plug sockets hanging out of the wall, and the kettle had to be balanced on a shelf to plug in. The pool filter made a constant loud noise, like the NuNu from the Teletubbies, and was only turned off at about 10pm. Children weren't allowed inflatables in the pool. The loungers were worn out and broken, and when we took some onto the grass, a woman told me I should clear up all the cat poo there. The pool table was broken, the WiFi barely worked, and there was no entertainment. The staff were rude and unhelpful. We spoke to several other holidaymakers who had concerns too, and said this was their first and last stay, just like ours. The place is advertised as a family hotel, but we found it totally unsuitable for children. It's a real-life Inbetweeners movie hotel scene, what a dump. We'd never return to this hellhole. It needs a massive refurbishment and new ownership.

The pool area and reception were very good, and most staff were friendly and helpful. The exception was the night porter, who said we shouldn't sit outside after the bar closed at midnight. Our room needs modernising. The bed was so uncomfortable, with the springs digging in, that we barely slept. During our 9-night stay, we didn't get clean bedding and had only two towel changes. The large balcony faced the back, where it smelled very damp, and there was rubbish and broken glass below it. The bathroom tiles and floor need a deep clean too. There were lots of worm-like things that stank when we tried to remove them. We won't stay here again.

Corfu itself is beautiful, but our April stay at Apartments Annaliza in Ipsos, booked through a tourist agency, fell short and I wouldn't return. The rooms didn't feel cozy or welcoming, and the manager came across as somewhat unapproachable. The rooms were extremely cold at night. We were given only two blankets, and the heating didn't work. The modest breakfast had ham, cheese, boiled eggs, and toast, but it wasn't especially varied or warm. Friends had a toilet that kept running, and almost all the rooms had problems with the water available for showers. That made the cold conditions even harder.

We stayed at Annaliza Apartments in September 2025, and couldn't fault the lovely accommodation, pool, or menu. The location was great too. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and worked hard to make our stay a pleasure. Thank you! Xx

The first-floor one-bedroom apartment was nice and clean, and only a very short walk from town. It isn't fancy, but I would recommend it. The staff are friendly, and there's a lovely big balcony. Inside, there's a small kitchenette with an electric kettle, stovetop, small oven, and fridge, plus a living area with two comfortable day beds. Sound can echo, so if you're sensitive to noise, earplugs might be worth packing.
