The balcony had a nice mountain view, and the area was calm and quiet. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Ipsos beach. Just remember that the owners and other locals live nearby, so everyone needs to be quiet and respectful. The owner was very kind and regularly checked that everything was okay. The kitchen was fine for cooking, though a cutting board and better knives would help. The mattresses were a little too hard for us, but we enjoyed our stay.

The host even met us when our plane arrived very late, showed us our room and gave us a warm welcome. She and her family live upstairs, and they kindly lent us an iron. There’s also a supermarket in Ipsos run by the host, with plenty of tavernas nearby. The house is lovely, with clean rooms, good furniture, an equipped kitchen and AC. They took the rubbish out daily, kept things clean and changed the towels frequently. The rooms face some kind of kindergarten or school, so the neighbourhood is quiet when the kids aren’t in school. You might hear other guests through the walls now and then. Ipsos beach is a 12-minute walk, Barbati beach is a 6-minute drive, and Corfu town is 25 minutes away. For the price, the location worked really well. It’s a very nice place to stay in Corfu.

The apartment was spacious and had enough facilities, but we weren’t very impressed with our stay. The beds weren’t comfortable, and the heater had a problem, so we had cold nights. The location also wasn’t ideal, about a 15-minute walk from Ipsos centre and the beach.

We had a really great family stay. The apartments were cosy and very clean, with a large bathroom, and they cleaned every day. The host was polite and attentive. Cafes, a supermarket, the bus to Corfu town and the beach are all within walking distance. Definitely recommend!
